Could you post pictures or just the referance numbers of the relays here just incase somebody else needs those and cannot find the numbers they are labelled
no problem, attached is an image with the part numbers. I haven’t got the MB number for the Defogger relay but the guy at Mitsu found the part from the Denso number.
also, As I am learning all this new stuff - Im trying to figure out the locations of the relays and just understand how it all works so drawn up this - if it helps anyone but Im sure most people know already…Mitsubishi GTO Fuse Locations.pdf (797.2 KB)
Can I suggest that you save a lot of money by swapping the suspect relay with a known good relay from another circuit in the car. You can then confirm if it is a relay fault 100%.
ah, didn’t think of that! cheers - I just swapped the horn relay from the engine bay with the window relay - the horn still works and the window doesn’t - so the relays are fine! at least I know its not them now…
You sure your car is not possessed or some witchcraft has not been called down on it??
That might be the case… anyone got a number for a local Excorsist handy? I’m off to get some holy water to try first. I could put it in with the screen wash and spray it all over the car.
