Howdy all, does anyone know how to replace upper idler pulley? Seems there are two hard lines in that location that may stop me from using a ratchet.
One of my videos covers this but I can’t remember which one so you will have to run through a couple of the engine related ones.
Hi mate. Use a ratchet ring spanner either from above or underneath with plastics and belt removed. There’s enough bolt head sticking out to make contact with the spanner. Cheers Martin.

I think it’s in the first timing belt video (super helpful BTW, thanks for them!). It was one of them. You have to take the mounts for the the hard lines off so they can be shifted. Then you’ll need to find the right combination of sockets. My memory is that a deep socket was too tall, a standard was too shallow but the standard with a stubby extension worked.
