I have a: 1992 GTO SR

I finally changed my timing belt! Joe’s video was extremely helpful, thank you so much! I checked everything multiple times and the engine runs very well, but sometimes after stopping the engine, there’s a lot of play in the timing belt, as if it’s loose again. After restarting the engine, everything is fine again. I read online that this is normal? But is this much play normal?

Slack after sitting is completely normal. As long as it tightens up on restart it means the tensioner is doing its job.
