Timing Belt Replacement Nightmare

I find I usually have to do things twice when working on this car

This is all deja-vu to read. I did a full 120k timing belt service last week thanks to Joe’s super helpful videos and ran into the same 3 problems as you. I didn’t lock the gears well enough at first and 1 gear jumped about 60° (no damage seemed to be caused)
I also put the crank pulley bolt on too tight without the pulley on and had to use my old timing belt and a C-clamp to hold the bottom crank pulley in place, luckily it worked out.
And lastly, I also set my belt up slightly off to one side and have the exact same 1 squeak per rotation.

Hope someone learns from our few minor failures.
