I have a: 3000GT SL
It has the following issue: Seat belts not retracting without Help. Most of the times they remain loose.
Any ideas except adding slippery stuff on them?
I had the same problem with mine… I solved it with loosening the seat belt from the rear panel and soaking them in a bucket of hot water with enough soap for 1-2 hours and brushing them clean before drying them… They work perfectly now again

Another vote for simply giving your seatbelts a good cleaning. Also clean the guides. I actually had to scrape gunk out of the guide that mounts to the B-pillar and swivels.

Did cleaning the seat belt fixed your retracting issue? mine don’t seem that dirty, and I rarely use it, so not sure if I have another issue on mine.
