Rocker cover HT lead retaining plastic Clips

I have seen on Joe’s video’s that there should be plastic brackets (like a Comb) that retain the HT leads on the front and rear rocker covers, mine are missing so its difficult to describe them.

It appears that the ones for the front rocker cover just slot into the cut outs in the cover whereas the rears appear to be retained by M6 bolts

If anyone has spare ones of these plastic retainers/brackets that they are willing to part with please let me know.

Clips looking similar to that !

Hi Spiros,

Thank you for the reply, I think the brackets are flatter as they need to fit into the slots in the rocker cover which are part of the casting in the recess where the spark plugs are accessed

These are the items on the Back cover, the ones on the cover are missing but i have ringed the slots they fit in

Front Rocker cover from Joe’s Video the plastic clips are where the HT Leads pass from Left to Right, 3 Slots in the first one and two in the second.

Yes Thats the ones i meant but could’t find the right picture

Hi Spiros

I did have a look at those on Ebay, unfortunately they appear to be for the rear rocker cover and only one is complete, the second item is missing the metal bracket that holds the plastic guide clip in place. so quite expensive for just one usable item.

I will keep looking as nobody on the forum has anything available, I suppose that these clips are the sort of thing that get lost/discarded when HT leads are changed or rocker covers removed for refurbishment, worst case scenario I will have to try and make something although the plastic material would have to be sufficiently resistant to heat.

Thanks for looking
