Ok cool stuff so best to remove door card . i watched some vids on utube. Joe’s video says best to removed door card looks easy . got to easyer than rear steering rack refurb which i have done , and full set of shocks ( on the drive way ) i will give it a go. i will do new post , weather permitting

I think he said best to remove doorcard if you dont want to damage the weatherstrips currently on your car. But if you are replacing them and not reusing them then you dont have to remove the door panel.
I am 99% sure you have to remove the door card, because you also have to remove the triangle. The trim partially sits under the triangle.
