Rear Jack Position

Hello all my name is Lee and I have a 1998 GTO.

I am just wondering where the best place to jack up the rear. The front is fine as there is a centre jack point thats easy to access. Im not keen on using the sills as they can be damaged. I have found this on the forum, showing the rear centre jack point but Im sure I have not seen this as obvious as the one at the front? thanks

With a rubber pad on your Jack - Jack up on the rear diff as per the image :+1:

Ah ok, thats what I couldn’t understand. So it’s the rear diff it goes on. I was unsure if that could take the weight. Thanks for the reply.

I’ve jacked up with the pinch welds for years and never once had an issue. They are literally made for it.
