Power Steer Belt....Expired Rubber?

Hello all my name is: YellowDog
I have a: 1991 Stealth TT

I received this power steering belt from 3SX. From the condition of the label it looks like it’s been sitting on a shelf for 20 years. Do you think this is reliable to use? I’m changing my belts not because they are worn but because they are old. Replacing one old belt for another old belt would defeat the whole purpose of the job.

I’m complaining to 3SX. I’ll let you know if they do anything to correct this

I wouldn’t have purchased that from 3sx, they’re rely expensive and I only order from them if I can not find the part I need anywhere else first.
