Does anyone know if mitsubishi sells the plastic sheet that goes on the inside of the door? Also what is that black tar stuff? Should I remove it and then re apply it if I plan to remove that sheet?
Just cut one yourself from quality plastic and some quality silicone.

You can even cut out the bulge in the original plastic that goes into a cavity in the door and attach it to your new plastic… It is pretty straight forward
