Petrol in old Oil

Hello all my name is: Oli
I have a: (3000GT, TT) 1992 Uk spec
It has the following issue: Just started my car for the first time in a couple of years after extensive rust repair and cambelt replacement inc water pump. Started almost immediately ran a little.lumpy for a minute and then satrted to clear. Will be replacing spark plugs etc shortly. However my mechnaic noted when draining the old oil there were signs of petrol in the oil. Are there any common starting points specific to this car we should look at. I have searched and found it could be faulty injectors through to worn piston rings. Any help or guidance appreciated.

I have had faulty injector cause this. It may also be the reason that the car is a bit lumpy. Try removing one ht lead at a time and see which one makes little or no difference to the idle. That is likely to be the faulty one.
