New screen trim

I didnt know if 3kgt meant a independent comapny rather than mitsubishi themselves ! Ill have to contact someone to see if they are able to get a set of door seals for me

I was told the other day that mitsubishi are once again selling the weather strips but I am yet to confirm this myself.

I spoke to mitsubishi today and they confirmed that the weather strips are available. Pt # mb641307 & mb641308 £254 each. The screen trim is also available again. # mb645240. £54.

I contacted mitsubishi today with a plan to order some of the screen trims and they confirmed availability at £54 each. Would you mind sharing the dealer who is charging £20 for them.

That certainly is a price hike on the door weather strips :sob: hopefully my spares are in good shape.

Dont think i can justify £500 for a pair of strips !

Me neither! Absolutely extortionate price.

And second and fifth

These are showing for around $120 USD each here.

Are you talking about the screen trim or weather strips? Either way, Brits are screwed for the cost of parts. That’s why I mostly buy in the States when I am there.

The door weather strips.

The windshield molding is showing to be around $30 USD.

I think people are confused on this post because Joe was talking about the screen trim and not the door weatherstrips lol.

But, Joe mentioned the door weatherstrips in a post

“I spoke to mitsubishi today and they confirmed that the weather strips are available. Pt # mb641307 & mb641308 £254 each. The screen trim is also available again. # mb645240. £54.”

Yeah because someone brought up door weatherstrips but this post was about the screen trim. The door weatherstrips have been available again from mitsubishi for a while. But tbh with you, those oem weatherstrips kinda suck. I put an oem one on my passenger door, and a replica on my drivers side door. After just 2 winters here in NJ, the oem weatherstrip is already cracking and peeling. The replica is still in perfect condition.

I’ve had the new OEM weatehrstrips on my car for 3+ years now and they still look perfect. My car doesn’t see a garage either.

Do you get bad winters where you are at? Mine cracked during the winter where the weatherstrips were covered in snow and ice.

I’m in southwestern PA, so my winters are just as bad, if not worse than you see in NJ.
