Hello friends, I’d like to replace the speedometer face on my 1992 Mitsubishi GTO SR. Currently, I have a face that displays both kilometers and miles. I’d like to install one that only shows kilometers.

I’m pretty certain I have one in storage, I even have a 280kmh version too but not sure how you would calibrate for that!

180 km/h would be enough for me. Do you have the whole speedometer for sale, or just the speedometer dials?
Pretty sure I have the whole speedometer, we get a lot of JDM imported GTO into the UK with kmh clusters that need to use a converter chip to change to mph.

I have MPH and KMH, which are a bit impractical for Germany, haha.

Also, I think it would be more cost efficient for postage charges and fees to just send the face, as it can be easily sandwiched between cardboard in a standard envelope.

OK, I have potentially some options or maybe both if you wish;
I actually found I have 2x 280km/h clusters (must be off Euro 3000GT or derestricted JDM maybe)…
and also a JDM 180 km/h cluster…
I could take just the face off the JDM cluster (needs glue cleaning off the km/h as typically they stick mp/h sticker over - not sure how well this will clean!) and this will be a straight swap for your existing 120mph face.
and/or…
I could send you a complete 280 km/h speedo cluster and I believe (but not 100% certain) that you could install the whole unit and it performs correct calibration of your speed pulse into km/h. This would allow you to travel >180kp/h and see it on the speedo. I performed the reverse conversion on a JDM GTO by installing a UK 3000GT speedo cluster and no pulse conversion chip was necessary and it was accurate.
Sending whole clusters will likely involve increased postage costs and customs fees.
