My 1992 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR-4

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here. I’m new to the forum, but I’ve been following the videos and content for quite a while and I really appreciate everything that’s shared here.

I wanted to share my Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Euro Spec. The car is quite special — it’s documented as the first 3000GT in the Netherlands and it was also used as the cover car for an Auto Visie brochure.

The car has remained completely stock and unmodified, except for an aftermarket exhaust. That originality is something I’m very proud of. Over the years the car has suffered from age and use, so I’m currently restoring it back to its original factory condition while keeping everything as authentic as possible.

My goal is to preserve the car the way Mitsubishi intended and help keep these amazing machines on the road.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here and sharing the progress of the restoration.

Thanks for sharing. You must be proud to have your own car on the front of the magazine. They always look so good and still look like a modern sports car. I love parking mine in the town centre and seeing the people around it taking pictures. Most people under 30 think it’s a new model.

True, up here in Scotland is very very rare and anywhere I go I get the thumbs up , on traffic lights people wind the window down and ask questions !

Exactly! The design of this car is truly timeless and when in good condition the car looks like a brand new concept car.
