Got a set of mk2 calipers for my mk1 project. It already had the mk2 fronts but an extra set won’t go amiss. Got them vapour blasted.removed the pistons with some effort as a few of them were solid but made an attachment up that screwed into the brake line hole and connected to the compressor. Eventually got all the pistons out and cleaned up with 1200 grit on the rough bits of crud .all ready for primer and paint now .
