Hello!

Does anyone know a good adhesive to use to re attach the upper door panel accent piece?

And also, if anyone has any ideas on how to repair the slots that the metal bracket pieces go in for the bottom accent piece that would be a big help! A previous owner must have removed the ones on my car and pulled straight out, tearing the actual door panel itself so that those brackets don’t hold the accent piece in place. Quite annoying

I one tried using adhesive many years ago to fix retrimmed panels, but on hot days they would just fall off. The best suggestion I can think is to have some slits in the backing of the accent pieces and feed through small tie wraps and then feed those through the door card and pull tight.
