Hi all. I have a 1992 non turbo GTO and I have removed the dashboard to fit new vents and thought it makes sense to replace the bulbs in the instrument cluster while it’s all stripped down.
Can somebody tell me what bulbs I need and where I can get them from.
Thanks. Gary
Hi Gazzz
You will find all of the bulbs on ebay but don’t rush to replace them if they are not faulty. The bulbs used in the factory are made to a much higher standard than the cheap aftermarket ones you will find in the shops and will last much longer.
Hi Joe. All the bulbs are working okay but some are looking rather black so I thought this may be a good time to replace them. I’ve looked on ebay but can only find LED replacements which is not want I want. Do you know if these bulbs have a name or a part number?
Hi Mate,
you can check here for yourself:
https://mitsubishi.epc-data.com/gto/z16a/mngf3/chassis-electrical/meter-gauge-clock/
But i think they are T10 wedge 14v 3W filament bulbs, and T5 Wedge 14V 1.4W
i think originals are made by Mopar, you can get the filament bulbs from the usual places (halfrauds, amazon, ebay etc…)
Many thanks I’ll check it out.
Are the instrument bulbs the same ac the A/C indicator light inside the on/off button?
