I have a 3000gt vr4 1991 and I bought this antenna for replacement from AntennaMastsRus: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JRJG45U, but I can’t install it. I tried putting the plastic cable with the teeth facing to the trunk and to the rear of the car, but when I turn off the radio it doesn’t touch the gear and antenna is not retracting. I was following some online tutorials like this one (great channel, helped me reparing speakers): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-6hPpQ3tuU
Should i get other mast or this is fine and my manual skills need some improvments?
