I have a: (GTO, 3000GT, STEALTH / SL, MR, VR4, TT)
It has the following issue: im only getting spark on 4 of 6 plugs. I have replaced all coils and ptu and the problem still exists.
NO HELP WILL BE GIVEN WITHOUT PROVIDING AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE RELATING TO YOUR ISSUE
If the plugs, leads, coils and PTU are all confirmed as working then really the only other thing is the ECU or the signal wires from ECU to PTU.

The wires from the cpu to the ptu have continuity.
Just had the cpu fresh rebuild by the company recommended by this forum. Still miss fire on the same coil
Wires might be ok, but you need to hook up oscilloscope to see if signal is actually sent there. You could use some cheap 50ā¬ one. Or probably could also use multimeter that has āhzā measuring. Latter one is not that scientific as it might show noise and react to it. If the signal from ecu is missing then also your incar tach should show 1/3 lower rpms to confirm ( PTU sends tach signal to the instrumentation cluster).
