It has the following issue: Hey! My water pipe is leaking from the thermostat side of the car. Does the pipe slide out? Also if I remove the pipe will the o ring on the other side be effected

Do you mean the metal pipe that runs across the top of the engine?
The thermostat housing is quite easy to remove from the end of the pipe and the o ring is not usually damaged during removal. The leak may be down to a rusted pipe or rotten o ring.
