I have a: 94 STEALTH Base
It has the following issue: Windows worked intermittently. I took off switches and cleaned contacts. Now they don’t work. Ordered new window regulators plugged in new regulators both sides work . Great but now my problem is I can’t lower the window to take the glass out change out the regulators. Any tips would be appreciated.
Have you tried unscrewing the motor from the rest of the assembly and then turning it down manually? I can’t remember if this is possible but worth looking at.
Which country are you in?
Remove the contact to the regulators and use 2 wires, one to ground and one to 12v. Carefully plug these in the regulator connector switch. one way will lower the window and the other way will raise it.
Once you figure out which combo takes the window down, go with that.
That is ofcourse if the regulator motor is working.
I did this with mine when the buttons stopped working. (stripped wires to ETACS was the issue).
