Has anyone here used the hood struts that cheng sells on facebook? (Shes the person who sells the door weatherstrips) Im looking at buying hood struts and the oem ones are super expensive.
Have you tried breakers yards in the US. They have them on this site used struts,

There are several hood struts on eBay right now, both new and used. You can can a new set for under $60

I sent mine to a strut regassing company. They didn’t know how to regas them so just ended up making new struts for me. Was about £100 in the end.

I’d go with JoeB and get them regassed. Mine are stuffed and I think that’s the way I’d go
