Help with finding serial numbers

Hello everyone:)
I own a 1991 vr4.
I would very much like to know if there is a way to find out the engine and chasiss serial numbers.
I am aware that they are on the car but they are not in a condition to be seen.
Is there a way to figure them out somehow?
By the VIN Number perhaps?

Thank you very much

The easiest place to get the VIN is on the decal/panel located in the driver’s door jamb (pictured above) - it is the 17 digit alphanumeric series located just below the bar code. It is also located on the dashboard in front of the steering wheel where the windshield meets the body of the car.
