Headlight washer pump

Hello Eric here,

I recently purchased an European 3000gt 1999 here in Germany. While it is overall in good condition there is one thing that is keeping me from getting it registered here.
My problem is that the headlight washer pump isn’t working. I already took the front end off, removed the pump and fixed the stuck brushes within the motor. After it still wasn’t working I suspect that it is the relay or the switch on the steering wheel stalk. The problem I have now is locating the relay for the pump. According to a wiring diagram it shows the relay should be about where the beige block with blue connector is (behind the radio just underneath the ECU), but I am not 100% sure. Has anyone else replaced or refurbished the relay? I found no information about it other than a wiring diagram and no one ever mentions it online in the forums I have been to. It is a system pretty much only used in Europe.

Ok, so I realized that the relay is to the left of the beige block. Makes sense as it states cleaner relay!
Can anyone tell me how to get the connector off? I can’t seem to get it free. The black tab on the right side doesn’t seem to move and I can’t find any other way to release the connector. Pushing on the black tab does nothing, pulling it out doesn’t work either. I am a bit worried about breaking something. Anyone have experience getting these things off?

Luckily I got the system working. The brushes on the motor were stuck pushed to the back in the carrier. I loosened them up, and ran the motor in awhile.
