Gen 1 GTO Restauration (Germany)

Hello, I’m from Germany and I bought this 1992 Mitsubishi GTO six months ago. It was a barn find and had been sitting for the previous ten years. The GTO was completely neglected and had been extremely badly modified and botched. I’ve made it my mission to completely restore it, and thanks to my boss, who owns a Mitsubishi dealership, I’m getting a lot of support.

Maybe someone knows the GTO? He is from UK Fareham, Hampshire And was imported to Germany in 2012

Here are a few pictures from the pickup.

And this is what it currently looks like, after about 450 hours of work in 6 months.

There’s still a lot of work to be done, but the GTO is ready to have fun this summer.

I hope you like my work  Best regards from Germany <3

It’s good to see that there are still people out there that are willing to put in the time to restore these lovely cars. Well done.

Wow. I was thinking that there was an awfully large amount of red inside and out. Looks fantastic now. Personally I’d slam it on some aftermarket rims and suspension. And make the fitment a bit more aggressive. just a personal thing but these look so good when lowered

Yeah iam looking for some new Lower Springs and maybe some new Rims like Evo 10 or Evo 9.

But in Germany its very difficult to become it Street Legal….
