Some time ago ( 18 months) I removed the front aero , panel and head lights. I have these brackets , does anyone know where they fit please?
They are the lower sandwich plates for the front bumper that go with the upper brackets where the headlights are. Without these fitted the bumper will sit a few mm lower and wont be clamped properly to the headlight buckets. I dont think you can fit them without removing the bumper, not easily anyway. They tend to rot away, I had a fabricator make me some replacements as they are no longer available…
Thanks for the advice, front panel still off the car, now it’s seems obvious where they fit but it’s been 18 months since strip down for painting front panel and reconditioning parts.
Just seen you’re asking about the rubber seal for the front bumper to bonnet. I bought a few from a guy who made them in the EU, I can spare one if you need?
Sorry for delay in replying,Been away.
Yes please, let me know price please.
Another question, does the rubber around/under the head lights fit between the plate you had fabricated and the indicator/side fabrication?
I’ll drop you a pic of the bonnet rubber at the weekend. As for thr headlight rubbers, yeah I think they press into the holes in the upper bracket but part of them are sandwiched in the lower plate, also there should be some long slim plates (about 8” long) that screw to the inside of the brackets that go up toward the wing.
Mine is split and it’s gone hard and brittle.
Yep, I got one of those spare. I’ll grab it tomorrow for ya
