Hi folks iam looking at fitting a fmic, what are the benefits of having one fitted, abs and would I need to move the oil cooler being as the pipe work is different?

If you decide to go this route yes you will have to relocate your oil cooler. The main reason people go this route is you are increasing your horse power overall with the motor. The FMIC gives you more surface area to cool the air. This combined with additional motor upgrades will increase the HP. If you are not upgrading other engine components away from the stock configuration I would leave it with the SMIC. You can also rebuild you SMIC and make them bigger (thicker) if you find the right shop. My 2-cents

Thanks mate, iam not going to do any engine mods, it’s already been dynoed at 289 bhp, so I don’t want to run any more, and I don’t want to te locate the oil cooler, thank you for your input
