Hello all my name is Ian and I have a 1996 mitsubishi 3000gt base model. Currently trying to replace an O ring on my evaporator however I cannot seem to find any O ring that fits. I purchased 2 O ring kits online and not a single O ring fits. I stole this picture from another site with someone having the exact same issue and this is exactly how it looks for me when I try fitting an O ring on. Any ideas? As you can see that bottom O ring does not fit at all.
Do you have a early model car that was fitted with R12 gas ?
This will be old measurements. You may have to go to mitsubishi direct or look for a AC business that has been around for a while. They may have some.

Strange that you should have a problem getting them. I used to get them from autozone.
These o rings I got came with a receiver drier and expansion valve kit from rockauto, I also ordered a o ring set of amazon and none of those o rings worked either. Ill probably take a drive down to autozone and see what they have.
