Engine bay connector help

1992 mitsubishi 3000gt vr4
there are a couple connectors that are located in the engine bay on the passenger side close to the strut tower… i’m not sure what they go to as mine were disconnected by the previous owner and i was just looking for guidance as to what they go to, any help is greatly appreciated!

^ this one i am curious about the orange and blue plugs

^ this one looks as if the wire was pulled out of the connector as both male and female ends are connected still

NO HELP WILL BE GIVEN WITHOUT PROVIDING AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE RELATING TO YOUR ISSUE

1st one looks like washer pump
2nd one is a test connector for the fuel pump and shouldn’t have anything connected to it.
3rd looks like the underhood light connector.

1.) my washer pump is already connected so i know it’s not that
2.) do you know what the blue one is that’s a little below?
3.) my hood lamp works as it should and this is still not connected:/

  1. Ok it may be for the washer level sensor
  2. Actually the brown connector is ignition timing adjustment test connector. The blue one is engine speed detection.
  3. Looking again the black one may be the fuel pump test connector.

should the blue one be connected?

No. It is a test connector only.

awesome… thank you so much for the help and clarification!

I have the test connectors in my N/A GTO and never knew what they were for, so very informative, thank you!

The black one looks like your wiper level switch connector, and the brown one is engine timing connector that DOES NOT connect to anything.
