Hey folks
After long time with no engine hassle at all, the car has started being choppy in 1 and 2 gear under hard acceleration… It never happens during regular driving, and it does not seem to happen in 3 gear and onwards so far…
Any suggestions to where I should start my troubleshooting??
It is a 1991 VR4
Have you tried any fuel injector cleaner e.g berrymans b12, Lucas… ?
I have not tried that… I have been pretty sure it was not related to there as the car runs very very good in all other gears under all kind of boost pressure… It only happens when it boosts in 1 and 2 gear.
But I might give that a try … I am looking for idea’s from people on what it might be and where to search and I will give that a look
