CEL Code 25 Barometric Sensor After New MAF

I have a USDM 1991 3000GT SL and got an HPS intake for it. Along with this, I got a brand new MAF sensor from Rock Auto to try to fix some of the issues I was experiencing. The car still starts and idles, dropping RPMs like normal. After a minute, the CEL comes on though and the car runs smoky. I used an LED to find code 25 (Barometric sensor) which is part of the MAF assembly. I cannot figure out what to do, I am not sure if it is a connection problem or something with the new MAF. I purchased the recommended one on Rock Auto and all are supposed to work on the USDMs I have heard anyway. The car had some hesitation issues before this but no weird idling or check engine lights - it was good enough to daily before. Any thoughts on what to to try?

Turned out to be the new MAF causing the problem and leading to running rich. I guess I should just stick to OEM with electronics on these cars as they have compatibility issues.
