Hello, my name is Mike. From West Virginia in the US. I have a 94 SL 3KGT. If it’s been posted already I would appreciate any direction, but I was wondering if anyone had any direction on restoring the power seats mechanism? Mine is working for now, but the piece built into the seat bolster is missing its buttons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When you say missing it’s buttons, do you mean that they don’t work or they have been taken out? If they are missing, you will have to buy some more. You can’t restore what you don’t have. The mechanism rarely needs servicing but if the grease dries out on the moving parts, just clean and re-grease.
Sorry for any confusion, I’m definitely looking for the buttons if anyone has a resource. But mainly if anyone has any advice on how to take off the old material and put on new seat covers.
I might have some power seat parts, including buttons. But for sure find them a bit closer.
