6G42 Twin turbo Oil pump

Hey everyone,

Recently, we replaced our hydraulic lifters on our 90 GTO.
We are planning on doing our timing belt and the whole shibang as well, but I also wanted to pick up an oil pump or pump service kit just as preventative maintenance.

I can only seem to find oil pump kits for the N\A version of this engine, not suited for the twin turbo.

Im going to assume they will fit, but will not provide enough oil pressure.

Does anyone have any pointers on where I could go to find a suitable oil pump, or if I could modify one of the N\A kits?

The first gen oil pumps were discontinued for a long time, until late year when Euro 3s Performance (Europe) and 3sx (USA) both had them remanufactured.

Can now be purchased for turbo and NA models

Alternatively, a cheaper solution is to purchase the billet gears from a newer generation oil pump and change out in your existing one.

I think there is a blog post on here of someone who took that option
