Hello,
1992 GTO TT
Are the prop proshaft bearings common for all 3000GT/GTO model years?
Where would be the best place to buy them from? (or if any of you have them in stock, it would be great).

They aren’t a common problem if that’s what you mean, at least nafaik. Evil empire or mitsubishi might still have them but don’t buy cheap Chinese copies.

I’ve got them off AUTODOC for around £30 each. Myself and others have been running them for years without issue. It’s all about making sure you install them correctly.

I used the ashika ones which are cheaper- the only thing you have to do is switch the inner bearing 180 degrees - that way the dust seal is on the correct side and everything will line up easily. The switching can be done with strong hands and the handles of a good spoon - kind of like when you did an bike inner tube as a kid :joy: - have done this for people in the past!
