New video release

Hi guys and girls.

I just released a new video on how to repair the dashboard clocks.

This coincides with the public access to my new parts website. Don’t get too excited, it’s new and still being populated. I am concentrating on parts that are hard to get hold of rather than a sell everything store. I plan to update it with more products as they come off the production line.

Unfortunately, I have had to limit sales to the UK at the moment due to all the wild tariff and shipping changes that are going on but overseas customers can contact me on this forum directly and I will try to help you out. the3000gtplace.Com

Awesome! I’m looking forward to spending all my money in the store in the years to come

Nice job Joe!
Do you think you’ll be able to get hold of the rubber seal that sits around the top of the headlight?

Cheers!

I can manufacture anything but it’s all about cost. To do small rubber parts, the cost of production is around £1500 for moulds etc. Then there is usually a minimum order of 500-1000 pieces. I will be long dead before I sell enough of them to even break even so it is not likely that I will be doing these. Right now I have about 30 parts in production and I have invested a small fortune in machinery to help reduce outside manufacturing cost. Once I have got some of my money back, I may look into equipment for rubber and plastic parts but right now, they are still outsourced and produced based on demand.

Completely get that. Is there anything you would recommend as a substitute? Mine are completely cracked and brittle past saving.

Are you talking about the mk2 headlight?

If you can send a picture of the profile, I can check with suppliers to see if they have anything that will do the job.

Yeah Mk2 headlight, and the rubber seal that sits on the top. Circled in yellow

I don’t have any mk2 myself. Any chance you could get a profile shot?
