Glove Box Lock Swap

Good Day,

Need some help. My glove box lock broken and I had to purchase a second have lock. However my key is now unable to lock the replacement lock. Is there a way to swap the key cylinder of my old lock to my new lock?

I would love any help with this as this is a common issue that we are facing with these cars. A video tutorial would be great, but any advice would be appreciated.

Hi There Mario, Joe did a video on changing the lock for the rear trunk. This is the same concept.
I changed the ignition barrel lock on my own car after some thugs destroyed it. When you take out the key slips be very careful to keep them in the correct order and the right way around. Good luck.
