Dropping Rear Subframe

Hi Guys, I’m trying to drop the rear subframe of my 1993 GTO, Question : am I better disconnecting the hand brake at the drum or at the hand lever, ?

Do it at the handbrake- it’s much easier- as you need to disassemble a lot of the hand brake mechanism to remove the cable.

Thanks 3KGT, I assume then that the cable will slide out through all the brackets on the underside of the body with the subframe ?

This guy actually just made a video on this. Havent fully watched it yet though.

You need to remove the p-clips that hold it to the body and the year you can wheel it out with the complete subframe- of course remember to disconnect brake lines and rear steering lines and your done :+1:
